Testimonials

Having gone down the path of recovery with several different recovery programs, one in patient and the other two out patient, I found myself again in this constant battle of addiction and needed and/or forced to enter yet another in-patient treatment program. I was scheduled to go into another facility but during the course of the day my spot was given up to someone else, it was upon accident , however I do not believe in accidents, this was meant to be that I ended up at the Clean & Sober Recovery Services.

This facility had such a different feel, a feeling of truly a staff that cared about you and your recovery, you weren't just there to help with overhead, you were there to be cared for, loved and taught how to live a life clean and sober. All of the staff had walked the same path I had been walking on so they knew how I was feeling, it wasn't just why can't you just quit, they understood that its just not that simple. They provided wisdom through having been there, not just text book. I never felt judged or looked down upon, I felt safe and secure which was a feeling I had not felt in a long time.

My 28 day commitment ultimately turned in to 90 days, I cannot tell you how critical the 90 day program was for me and my recovery. This was also on the advise of the counselors, again there wisdom and experience. Even though this commitment was difficult it was also so necessary. I graduated in December 2009, after 6 months from the program, I had experienced a brief relapsed and had spoke again to the counselors and was able to get back on the right path, they did not turn their backs on me even after graduation, the doors were always opened. I can proudly say I have been clean and sober for over 1 year and continue to work my program on a daily basis.

My sincere thanks to Clean and Sober Recovery Services and my higher power for my sobriety and my new life.

Sincerely,
A Very Grateful Alcoholic

When we pulled into the driveway at Clean and Sober Recovery, we didn't know what to expect. We only knew that drugs and alcohol were destroying our son and our family, and that Clean and Sober Recovery came with great recommendations and high hopes.

Our son's stay at Clean and Sober Recovery helped all of us regain our footing after substance abuse had taken a horrible toll on our family. For the first time in years, we could see our son start to heal and learn and grow in a positive, safe, supportive environment. Through the education, the 12-step work, the group meetings and counseling, our son has gained self-understanding and insight. He now has a chance to make healthy and wise choices, and to leave substance abuse in his past.

The family education changed our lives and the way we interact with our son. We have learned about the disease of addiction, its impact on the family, and how to break the cycle of enabling. Because of the education, we now have hope for ourselves and our son. We know that addiction and alcoholism is a life-long battle, and we have been empowered with knowledge that will help us be victorious. Best of all, we have our healthy and happy child back in our lives again.

The incredibly capable and committed staff at Clean and Sober Recovery has given our son a new lease on life. When our son graduated from Clean and Sober Recovery, he had a diploma in his hand, friends in his heart, and the tools for a strong and productive life. Along the way, the wisdom and self-knowledge we gained as a family has truly been the silver lining in the dark cloud of addiction.

Hi Clean and Sober Family:

I just wanted to take this time to say a big "Hello" & "Happy Holidays" and to also let you know how I am doing. First off I have to thank you for believing not only in me but in the program of Recovery. To be the caring, compassionate, self sacrificing people that all of you are. Without you and your love for recovery "I" wouldn't be where I am at today.

I was fortunate to be a resident at Clean and Sober Recovery Home, What a surprise to me, the blessing I received from that experience. As you know, by the time we are looking for treatment for recovery we are pretty beat up, broken or what ever else you want to call it. I was desperate. I lost custody of my daughter, my health was a mess; to having seizures, hallucinations and many trips to the emergency room. I exhausted the patience to almost everyone in my life.

I really didn't know what to expect, but what I got was so much more than I could ever imagine. Our day started at 7:00 am. They provided the educational classes, group time to share our feelings, step studies, outside meetings, activities, volleyball, movie night, swimming, more educational classes, family days, more educational classes, we had chores to do, more educational classes, family support and still more educational classes with homework! Having a different attitude and seeing today what is really important in my life is a direct result of being willing to know defeat of my own self, and learning the things I was taught at the "Clean and Sober Recovery Home". You guys know I can't say enough about my experience there. I can go on and on. I recommend this for anyone and everyone!!!!
