Normal Questions with Real Answers
What is this all about?
The disease of addiction often holds such a tight grasp on those afflicted that some require an individualized intervention to jump start their recovery process. We understand this and know how challenging it is to have an intervention that will start the process.
An intervention is generally defined as an attempt to disrupt a person's pattern of negative and addictive behaviors. Some individuals are unable to see how the disease of addiction has affected their lives and the lives of those around them. Friends and family may have expressed concern, anger, worry, and frustration but their message does not get through. Addiction is so powerful and sneaky because it causes the mind to rationalize compulsive and destructive behaviors to maintain the addiction. Simply put, this “beast” of addiction is cunning, baffling, and powerful. Our highly trained interventionist, Ricki Townsend, can break through to your loved ones’ false sense of reality. Ricki’s objective is to break down some of the intensity of the emotions that surface that keep the real truth at bay.
