Normal Questions with Real Answers

What is this all about?

stop-handThe disease of addiction often holds such a tight grasp on those afflicted that some require an individualized intervention to jump start their recovery process. We understand this and know how challenging it is to have an intervention that will start the process.

An intervention is generally defined as an attempt to disrupt a person's pattern of negative and addictive behaviors. Some individuals are unable to see how the disease of addiction has affected their lives and the lives of those around them.  Friends and family may have expressed concern, anger, worry, and frustration but their message does not get through. Addiction is so powerful and sneaky because it causes the mind to rationalize compulsive and destructive behaviors to maintain the addiction. Simply put, this “beast” of addiction is cunning, baffling, and powerful. Our highly trained interventionist, Ricki Townsend, can break through to your loved ones’ false sense of reality. Ricki’s objective is to break down some of the intensity of the emotions that surface that keep the real truth at bay.

walking-sunriseAbsolutely. An individualized exit plan is suggested for all clients. Many of our clients continue their journey with moving over to Clean & Sober Living. Taking the tools they acquired here they go on to living in a sober environment with other sober people. Most go back to work or school and readjust to “living” in sobriety. More information on Sober Living is available here.

Twelve(12) weeks of aftercare is included in the price for both clients and their families. Aftercare consists of weekly one-on-one counseling sessions to assist in their transition back into the mainstream of life.

Families may continue for 12 weeks in Tuesday night and Sunday morning family groups. Clients may attend the Tuesday night family group and three study groups per week during aftercare program.

We are always there to help in any way we can.

cut-cost

Here we get to brag a little bit. Our fees are over 50% less, on the average, than similar in-patient programs in California. Being that we are part of the oldest and largest family of treatment resources our overall costs are significantly lower than others. Add to that, we have learned through experience, of how to provide the highest quality treatment at reasonable prices. We do not accept “county funded” clients and are geared to provide services for the average person and family.

Everyone has heard about the “Hollywood” treatment centers, but how realistic are they for the average person and more importantly how successful are they? Price does not constitute quality. A proven system run by alcoholics and addicts, in recovery themselves is a far better choice. People that were just like you and have chosen to become professional and certified counselors makes complete sense.
