Deborah Campbell
Deborah Campbell is Executive Chef at Clean & Sober Recovery Services. She’s a natural for a role that nourishes body, mind and spirit. Deborah has many years of experience as a food and beverage manager; plus, she’s raising a passel of Berkshire pigs and growing fabulous produce at Hog and Dogs Ranch, her family farm in Herald, California. She comes to CSRS with experience as a California Hospice Healthcare Advocate where she provided support for hospice patients and their families. Her experience with the heartbreak of loss gives her a great perspective on the promise of recovery.
Managing the kitchen at CSRS appealed to Deborah because, as she explains, “I’m drawn to the optimism of recovery. These residents are my guys, and I want to see them come out on the other side.” It’s a great gift to have her positivity and perspective in the kitchen.
Deborah keeps busy with her seven children and 11 grandchildren. Somehow, she manages to carve out four days every year to attend a Renaissance Faire-type event as the “Widow Flame” from the 15th Century.
